A late-night stop for gas leaves Billy stranded in the darkness. But is he alone?
Stranded eBook M Patton
This is a very quick read and it's not bad. The main character runs out of gas and stops at a service station to fill up, but the station has lost power and there also happen to be zombies there as well. I'm a little confused as to why he tries to climb a tree to get away from them. When he first tried, he failed but he kept trying as they were getting closer. I would have just run instead of trying to climb a tree when I knew the zombies were closing in on me.The atmosphere of the story is pretty creepy and I've often driven by a lonely gas station at night and thought what a great place for a horror story it would make. So I have to applaud this author for using this great setting for his story.
It's worth checking it out.

Stranded eBook M Patton Reviews
Very entertaining short story by Mike Patton. No nonsense, straight forward, and easy to read. It definitely felt like I was in a rundown town with one gas station, with....SOMETHING...OUT...THERE!
Great short story where your imagination can take you to many places. Reinforces the fear of running out of gas or getting lost on a deserted road!! Should you take the ride?
Short and sweet. I loved the story, but hated the ending. But it was a thrilling ride to get there.
I would have liked it more if the book had had more detail or anything really. It was just too short for me to give it a higher review.
While reading this, I found myself questioning if I wanted to continue to the next word....It's a wild ride, so hold on tight!
This is a scary short story about a guy that runs out of gas. After reading this book you can trust me that I will never let my truck run out of gas. I was really creep-ed out while reading this book and I couldn't put the book down. I have to say though that the reason I only gave this book 4 stars is because I didn't like the ending. Great book though.
I liked this story. It was an fun and easy read and I found the mystery intriguing.
Unfortunately, the ending failed to explain the reason behind the occurrence. I found that disappointing. With such a short story its important to make every page count, however, despite enjoying the build up, I found the resolution to be a bit lacking.
Regardless, this story is still a fine way to pass 5 minutes.
